The stunning system is automatic.
It consists of a frame which is constructed from UPN sections in hot dip galvanised A-42 steel; and a V-belt made of polyamide.
The operation of this machine is driven by two direct-drive geared motors. The assembly is covered by a stainless steel laying sheet. Legs can be ADJUSTED in height.
The auto stunning system is electro-pneumatic and consists of two electrodes fitted inside the restrainer for application of electric discharge on the animal’s head according to parameters displayed in the stunning unit and animal’s resistance.
Those electrodes are guided by a pneumatic cylinder so that they can follow the animal up to the end of the restrainer and render the animal unconscious. After that, they come back to initial position with no tension to avoid accidental application of electric discharge.
