Vertical steam condensation scaling
Scalding
Reference: TV SERIES
Description
Vertical scalding by condensation is a process that consists of introducing steam into a cabin, creating an atmosphere of humidity and temperature suitable for opening the pores of the skin and then obtaining a correct peeling in the epilator.
The scalding tunnel is built with sandwich panels to ensure good insulation. The inner walls are equipped with deflector plates (to promote steam circulation) and a high-strength stainless steel tank, accessible from the bottom.
A set of fans, installed along the tunnel, are in charge of sucking the air from the upper part of the tunnel and recirculating it through the external channels, while the water vapor is humidified and heated. These fans are also responsible for injecting hot air through the lower part of the tunnel, which causes a scalding effect at the appropriate temperature.
The animals arrive suspended on a mechanized overhead conveyor, installed outside the tunnel, to prevent corrosion and facilitate operation. The entrance and exit are equipped with specially designed doors to effectively isolate the inside and outside of the scalding cabin. The system is equipped with an automatic temperature control system.
Longitudinal blanching is a safe and efficient process to obtain high quality peeling.
Its design allows very significant savings in water consumption; cross-contamination is also considerably reduced.
