Automatic Head Cutter

The fully automatic head cutter developed for pig lines separates the head from the body in such a way that the meat that remains on the head will be minimal, causing no damage to it.

The automatic short head shear can be placed before or
after the cornering machine on the slaughter line. The
carcasses are led through the slaughter line in front of the
detection unit, this detection will analyze the carcasses while passing
throughout this unit.

The connected computer will calculate the
correct cut with the height and will give this information to the automaton. The
chassis with the scissors is synchronized with the pig, as soon as
the pig is in position and at the same time the scissors is moved towards
forward, cut off the head and return to its initial position. After the
cutting, the scissors are automatically sterilized with hot water.

THE SYSTEM IS COMPOSED BY:

1. A robot with a shear cuts heads on the slaughter line. A detection unit on the slaughter line containing a video target.
2. An electrical distribution cabinet, with automaton and touch screen.
3. A data control computer with a modem.
