Automatic Cornering Machine

The new Famia 2000 automatic cornering machine is specially designed for the automatic cutting of carcasses in slaughterhouses.

This machine offers the possibility of working continuously, in the dressing line without stops or gaps, avoiding the usual stops to perform the cornering operation.

Its location is aerial, accompanying the channel in the cornering area, in this way the main mechanical parts are isolated from possible exposure to contact with the channels, achieving unbeatable hygiene and cleanliness of the installation.

Its operation consists of a sub-set of guided and rigid blades to ensure the kinematic movements characteristic of the cutting of pig carcasses.

The vertical displacement made by these blades is guided between two vertical columns that stop one meter from the ground, therefore the active width of the machine is limited to 500 mm.

There is the possibility, according to the client's needs, to include the cut of the head or simply stop at the last vertebra.
