Scalding Basin
Scalding basin made of stainless steel and fitted with mineral wool isolation. The scalding is performed by immersing the pigs into the scalding water. The basin is fitted with water and steam inlets.
The dragging system consisted in a heavy-duty stainless steel drum fitted with 72 bars which lead the animal along the scalding basin. Scalding time can be adjusted.
Vertical Scalding Systems
This scalding system is specially intended to perform vertical scalding of pigs, i.e. pigs are hanging vertically.
The tunnel is made out of sandwich panels which are isolated to keep the suitable scalding temperature inside the system.
Lung contamination is reduced as pigs are never immersed in water.
Powered Scalding Basin
